Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled civil engineer to work on various projects throughout the northwest region. As a Civil Engineering Project Specialist, you will be responsible for providing onsite engineering and technical support, quality control, construction management assistance, land surveys, and maintaining a safe working environment. Heavy civil construction or marine construction experience is highly preferred. Travel is extensive, and you must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop project work element plans and JSAs
- Coordinate project definable features of work with Manson superintendents, foremen, craft workers, and subcontractors
- Computer Aided Drafting for analysis of lift equipment capabilities and depiction of work method sequencing
- Critical path scheduling and 3-week look ahead scheduling
- Review designs, drawings, and engineering data prepared by Manson consultants and vendors for conformance with project plans and specifications, and identify associated conflicts
- Investigation and research for needed permanent and consumable material items, equipment, and tools
- Inspection of newly delivered permanent materials for conformance with project requirements
- Coordinate project activities with the client's representatives and other project stakeholders
- Falsework Design
- Monitor of Manson and its subcontractors' operations
- Daily operations and quality control reporting
- Project photographic records
- General project support

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Civil Engineering, Ocean Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Management, or Construction Management from a four-year college or university is required. Marine Construction Industry experience is preferred.
- Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record
- Successful completion of Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (FE) and current registration as an Engineer in Training (EIT) preferred
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) required; experience with scheduling, estimating, and project management software (HCSS & Primavera) preferred
