RN Lead Telemetry FT Days

The Clinical Lead RN position at Carondelet St. Marys Hospital is a critical role that requires a skilled and experienced nurse to oversee patient care and unit activities. As a Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for coordinating and directing patient care, unit activities, and staff performance on an assigned shift.
Key Responsibilities- Supports and evaluates patient care and unit needs during assigned shift
- Makes assignments for staff to meet patient care needs and for incoming patients
- Makes patient assignments and delegates unit-specific task assignments to ensure patient care and unit needs are met
- Evaluates staffing by considering mix of caregivers, patient volumes, patient acuity, and staff availability
- Communicates effectively with team members and others during daily interactions
- Seeks to proactively improve quality of services provided and patient care outcomes
- Serves as unit champion and resource to staff for quality and patient safety initiatives and issues
- Provides professional/technical/clinical/coaching support for nursing associates
- Troubleshoots issues that require an immediate resolution and keeps nurse manager/director informed of circumstances, actions, and outcome
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
- Valid current Arizona Nursing License
- Required in area of clinical specialty within 3 years from ANCC or other approved credentialing entity
- Minimum of 1 year clinical experience required
- 1 year of ICU experience required (prefer Neuro ICU exp)
- BSN preferred, not required
- Basic computer skills
