Job Title: Automotive Service Dispatcher

We are seeking a dedicated Automotive Service Dispatcher to join our team at Bill Dube Ford Toyota Scion. As a key member of our Service Department, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer experiences.

About the Job

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year experience in a Service Department, Independent, or Dealership setting. You will be responsible for greeting customers promptly, obtaining customer and vehicle information, and clearly reporting all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer.

You will determine and recommend needed maintenance based on age, mileage, and vehicle history, prepare complete and accurate estimates of cost for labor and parts, establish follow-up times, and monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, updating customers frequently.

You will also verify that final invoices reconcile with work performed on repair orders, explain all completed work and charges to customers, and assist in maintaining a clean work environment for our clientele.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year experience in a Service Department, Independent, or Dealership setting
  • Ability to work hard with limited supervision
  • Must be able to manage in a fast-paced work environment
  • Knowledge of automobiles
  • Positive attitude
  • High volume mentality
  • Must be willing to work on Saturday
  • Set five day work schedule with one day off during week as well as Sunday
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screens (Background & Drugs)

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
