Transportation Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Transportation Coordinator to join our team at Partners HealthCare.
This is a full-time position working 36 hours per week with variable days. The estimated salary for this role is $58,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience.
The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting patients, specimens, requisitions, and other patient-related items to and from designated areas of the hospital. This includes performing various support services under the supervision of Registered Nurses, such as vital signs and CPR.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transporting patients and specimens to and from designated areas of the hospital
- Performing vital signs and CPR under the supervision of Registered Nurses
- Maintaining efficiency with clinical equipment needs
- Assisting with patient assessment and care provision under the direction of the Registered Nurse
- Dispatching calls in order of priority
Requirements:
- Demonstrated competence in patient care and transportation
- Able to work efficiently and respond well to emergent situations
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
