Your role is crucial. Every position contributes to the well-being of our patients, and as a dedicated Respiratory Therapist CRTT PRN, you will play a vital part in our mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer respiratory care procedures based on patient needs and physician directives, adhering to established protocols.
  • Enhance the respiratory health of assigned patients through assessments, therapy reviews, and appropriate recommendations.
  • Perform airway management and cardiopulmonary resuscitation as necessary.
  • Effectively communicate patient care plans with team members, ensuring continuity of care.
  • Maintain and adjust respiratory equipment, educating peers on operational protocols.
  • Adapt communication styles to suit patients of varying ages.
  • Assess and manage patient pain, involving them in their care using suitable interventions.
  • Exhibit clinical proficiency in patient care practices.
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, fostering teamwork.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development through educational opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within the first month of employment.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required within the first month of employment.
  • State certification as a Respiratory Therapist.
  • Associate Degree in a relevant field.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or CPR certification required within the first month of employment.
