Your role is crucial. Every position impacts our patients' experiences, and you have the chance to make a significant difference. We are seeking a committed Respiratory Therapist CRTT PRN to enhance our team.
Key Responsibilities- Administer respiratory care treatments as per patient requirements and physician directives, adhering to established protocols.
- Ensure optimal respiratory function for assigned patients through thorough assessments and appropriate interventions.
- Conduct airway management and perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation when necessary.
- Effectively communicate care plans with colleagues, physicians, and nursing staff to maintain continuity of care.
- Adjust and troubleshoot respiratory equipment, providing guidance to other healthcare professionals on its operation.
- Adapt communication to suit the age and needs of patients.
- Assess and manage patient pain, involving them in their care through appropriate methods.
- Exhibit clinical proficiency in patient care practices.
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, fostering a collaborative approach to patient care.
- Engage in professional development through ongoing education and training.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 30 days of employment.
- State certification as a Respiratory Therapist.
- Associate Degree in a relevant field.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
