Job Title: Project Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Primus International. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing all engineering and technical disciplines involved in projects. Your primary focus will be on scheduling, planning, forecasting, and resource allocation to ensure project accuracy and quality from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor assigned Engineering and test Lab projects to complete on schedule and on budget.
  • Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA policies, performance standards, and specifications.
  • Cooperate and communicate effectively with sales, production, and customers to complete projects.
  • Incorporate inspection and machine capabilities into product designs.
  • Participate in rotation for liaison and Job/Planning review for Engineering and Manufacturing.
  • Write and perform reviews of Technical Reports.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
  • Proven work experience as a project engineer.
  • Proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks.
  • Basic knowledge of GD&T, mechanical design principles, and PLM drawing review.
  • FEA and Aircraft Structures familiarity desired.
  • Programming and scripting skills (Python, Java, SQL, Visual Basic) desired.
