About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Home Sales Representative to join our team at Orkin. As a Home Sales Representative, you will be responsible for understanding our termite protection services and making strategic recommendations to customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct 360 inspections of homes to identify potential pest issues and provide solutions to customers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure their homes and families are protected.
  • Utilize our comprehensive training program to stay up-to-date on the latest pest control techniques and products.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets by prospecting new business and assigned leads.
  • Schedule and conduct sales appointments with potential customers to explain our products and services.
  • Inspect the interior and exterior of homes to identify potential pest issues and provide solutions to customers.
  • Make recommendations to customers based on inspection results and provide clear explanations of our products and services.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification if required (company-paid).

Work Environment

Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform job duties with or without accommodations.

  • Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity.
  • Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc., including the ability to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) which sometimes requires an OSHA-compliant respirator.
  • Willing to work in different types of weather conditions.
