Job Summary:

The Coordinator, Marketing and College Information plays a crucial role in creating and disseminating marketing and college information to various audiences. This position is responsible for coordinating and assisting in the development of marketing materials, press releases, feature articles, publications, brochures, newsletters, internal communications, website content, and social media posts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote college programs and services.
  • Write, edit, and proofread marketing materials, including press releases, feature articles, and publications.
  • Assist in maintaining the marketing calendar of events and activities.
  • Collaborate with college departments to create promotional materials for events and activities.
  • Serve as a liaison to the Marketing Committee and participate in other committees as needed.

Requirements:

Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor's degree in communications or public relations is required. Extensive experience in marketing and public relations is also necessary. Successful results of a criminal background check are required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Excellent writing and editing skills, with a command of Associated Press (AP) style. Experience working with the media in writing, editing, and/or publishing feature articles, publications, and social media is preferred. Experience working with educational institutions is also desirable.
