Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing individual and group counseling services, screenings, and assessments to clients enrolled in our substance use disorder outpatient services. You will work closely with clients and their families to develop and implement treatment plans that promote recovery and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual and group counseling services to clients enrolled in our substance use disorder outpatient services.
  • Conduct screenings and assessments to identify client needs and develop treatment plans.
  • Work closely with clients and their families to promote recovery and well-being.
  • Document all interactions and provided client services in our electronic medical record system.
  • Attend bi-weekly staff meetings to provide clinical updates and collaborate with the recovery team.
Requirements:
  • LCDC or LCDC-Intern certification in the state of Texas.
  • Experience working in a substance use setting, preferably with adolescents and teens.
  • Strong clinical knowledge of substance use disorders and ability to provide sound clinical decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse client populations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and services.
Working Conditions:

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability. You will be required to work closely with clients and their families, as well as collaborate with other team members to provide comprehensive care and services.
