We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our Consulting practice as a Manager, Financial Services Data Transformation. This role will involve leading and managing client engagement teams in designing and executing large-scale data transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and Manage Client Engagement Teams: Design and execute large-scale data transformation programs, including data management strategies, policies, and standards, to ensure data integrity for deriving insights and decision-making, risk management, and internal/external reporting for banking/capital markets clients.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with various businesses and key stakeholders across the institution to identify critical data elements, sourcing requirements, and prioritize and monitor critical data for quality for end users for regulatory reports.
  • Analyze and Document Data Flows: Analyze underlying data, potential transformations, and key dependencies and affiliated controls throughout the data lifecycle and understand and document how the data flows through to regulatory reports.
  • Conduct Regulatory Report Analysis: Conduct analysis and testing of key regulatory reports and their requirements to identify any gaps or issues that may impact the accuracy of reporting and conformance with instructions.
  • Support Engagement Planning and Execution: Assist with the development of engagement planning, execution, and monitoring while serving as a liaison with client stakeholders to ensure alignment with expectations and provide regular updates on engagement status.
  • Develop Client Proposals and Solutions: Support and drive the build-out of client proposals and internal offering/solution development.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 Years of Experience: Minimum five years of recent experience in the financial services industry or management consulting firm with emphasis on data governance, data management, and regulatory reporting, finance/risk data management, or a similar role.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university required; advanced degree from an accredited college/university preferred.
  • Regulatory Reporting Knowledge: Strong comprehension of regulatory reporting requirements, including knowledge of key regulatory reports such as FR Y-9C, FR Y-14, FR 2052a, and FFIEC 031/041.
  • Data Management Capabilities: Deep understanding of data management capabilities, inclusive of data quality, traceability, data lineage, quality, metadata management, and integrity principles, and regulatory reporting instructions.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Ability to establish effective working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, such as risk management, finance, and IT, to facilitate understanding of data sourcing requirements with exceptional written and verbal communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Travel and Eligibility: Travel may be required, and applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
