About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at AMG Physical Rehabilitation Hospital - Covington. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct and indirect patient care services that meet the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to the development of patient care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including progress notes and medication administration records.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
  • Current Louisiana LPN licensure.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Minimum of six months to one year's work experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
