Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Check-In/Check-Out: Welcome and register guests, provide keys and room numbers, and record credit card information.
  • Account Management: Ensure all hotel guest account information is accurate and up-to-date, handling general bookkeeping tasks.
  • Communication: Take incoming calls, online and in-person room bookings requests, and answer questions about guests' needs, including room rates, available rooms, amenities, rewards programs, and special requests.
  • Customer Service: Handle customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are ready for new guests, maintaining a smooth and efficient operation.
Requirements
  • Customer Service Skills: Possess strong customer service skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and time management skills.
  • Technical Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems.
  • Experience: At least one year of hospitality industry experience as a hotel front desk agent or similar position preferred.
  • Problem-Solving: Experience answering telephone calls and troubleshooting stressful situations.
  • Education: Must have graduated high school, received a GED or equivalent.
