About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Privacy and Cybersecurity practice group as a Junior Privacy Associate. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice on data protection and privacy matters to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of data protection strategies for clients across various industries.
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations on data security measures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Provide training and support to clients on data protection best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and developments in data protection and privacy law.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in a law firm or consulting environment.
  • Strong understanding of data protection and privacy laws, including GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and NIST.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Bar admission in the jurisdiction of practice.
