Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and negotiation of ad agency, influencer, celebrity endorsement, sponsorship, online media buying, and other marketing and promotion agreements.
  • Review ad copy for false advertising, claim substantiation, IP, and right of publicity issues; counsel on contest and sweepstakes compliance and on price advertising and recurring subscription programs; and advise on loyalty/rewards programs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of marketing strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in advertising and consumer protection law.
  • Provide exceptional client service and support to internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in advertising or consumer protection law, and marketing transactions.
  • Strong attention to detail; team focused.
  • Excellent verbal, writing and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong academic credentials and client-interfacing skills.
  • State bar admission required.
