Job Title: EHS Senior Leader

We are seeking an experienced EHS Senior Leader to join our team at Amcor Rigid Packaging. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in supporting our Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) initiatives.

Job Summary:

The EHS Senior Leader will be responsible for developing and implementing EHS programs and initiatives across our organization. This includes ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, developing and maintaining EHS policies and procedures, and providing training and support to employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement EHS programs and initiatives to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain EHS policies and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Provide training and support to employees on EHS policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular EHS audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement corrective action plans to address EHS deficiencies.
  • Collaborate with plant management and EHS leadership to develop and implement EHS initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain EHS metrics and reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in safety management, safety engineering, or related field.
  • 8-10 years of progressive experience in EHS in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to graphically display operations information and perform life cycle assessments.
  • Ability to communicate and interface with all levels of the organization from senior leadership to hourly co-workers.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge/application of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to operate under minimal supervision.
  • Travel up to 25%.
