Salary: Up to $1000 per week + Commission

Baily International of Atlanta is in search of a Field Sales Representative for the Texas region.

BILINGUAL CANDIDATES PREFERRED (Spanish/English)

This role entails outside sales responsibilities, focusing on promoting the company's offerings and fostering relationships with both new and existing clients. The primary goal is to support Baily International's customers in achieving their objectives while meeting the sales and profit targets set by the organization.

This position may require working during non-standard hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to effectively address customer needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate new business and deepen relationships with existing accounts to achieve profitable sales growth and specific objectives within the designated territory.
  • Identify and qualify prospects in alignment with the company's account stratification goals.
  • Analyze customer business requirements and create a tailored mix of products and services to fulfill those needs.
  • Assess market trends and recommend products to clients based on their business goals.
  • Stay informed about market conditions, product advancements, and competitors' offerings; share insights with clients as part of the value-added services provided.
Essential Duties
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, availability, and usage. Provide product information and practical training to client personnel.
  • Utilize personal vehicle for travel to customer accounts, conventions, and company meetings.
  • Manage accounts receivable communications as necessary, collaborating with the credit department and clients; ensure collection of all outstanding balances based on approved credit terms.
  • Oversee deliveries according to the routing schedule established by the transportation department; address any issues that arise during the order process.
  • Engage in ongoing training sessions.
  • Assist in training new employees as needed.
  • Review and analyze daily and weekly reports, including special order requests and sales/gross profit margin data.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as preparing sales budgets and reports, maintaining sales records, processing credits and pick-up requests, and filing reports.
  • Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.
Basic Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED), or 1 year of experience in foodservice sales.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft-based platforms.
  • Reside or be willing to relocate within the territory.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Current automobile insurance with specified liability limits.
  • Must pass pre-employment assessments (Drug Screen, Background Check).
  • Must sign Baily International's Protective Covenants Agreement.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak both English and Spanish.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, or Culinary Arts.
  • Two years of experience in outside foodservice sales.
  • Prior experience in foodservice sales.
  • Experience in restaurant management or as a chef.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. While executing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and telephone. The employee frequently needs to reach with hands and arms and may occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
