Field Sales Representative

Location: North Houston, TX

Compensation: Targeted earnings of $70,000 - $75,000 (base salary plus uncapped sales commission for all in target year one). Compensation will be based on skills and experience.

Based in Denver, Colorado, we proudly collaborate with thousands of the nation's leading builders, real estate professionals, and service contractors to ensure peace of mind for over one million homeowners nationwide.

Position Overview: We are on the lookout for a dynamic Field Sales Representative who will spearhead the registration and enrollment of homes by real estate professionals in the Houston, TX market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily sales calls, present at sales meetings, and participate in networking events to engage established or prospective clients.
  • Assess client product needs and devise solutions to meet or exceed their expectations.
  • Work alongside sales managers to formulate an annual business plan, prepare forecasts as necessary, and develop strategies based on local, territory, state regulatory, and competitive conditions.
  • Foster, maintain, and boost sales volume within the assigned territory by promoting and selling company products and services.
  • Collaborate with sales and product managers to create innovative product offerings.
  • Assist clients with service needs, including resolving discrepancies and warranty disputes in coordination with sales support.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by providing top-notch sales and service experiences.
  • Provide training (both one-on-one and group presentations) to realtors, brokers, industry associations, and other relevant groups regarding our warranty and additional products/services.
  • Enhance brand awareness and demonstrate the value of our warranty products.
  • Utilize the company's CRM tool (Salesforce) to conduct, document, and manage all business activities.
  • Mandatory daily travel within the assigned territory is required, with occasional long-distance travel for training and corporate meetings.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university is preferred, along with 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience (experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and decision-making/problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Reliable transportation.
