Clinical Educator Perinatal Services Full Time Days

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Educator to join our team at the Detroit Medical Center Shared Services. As a Clinical Educator, you will play a critical role in supporting the educational needs of our nursing staff, with a focus on Perinatal Services.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive education programs to meet the orientation and ongoing competency needs of nursing staff in Perinatal Services.
- Collaborate with facility/market nursing leadership and staff to assess, plan, develop, implement, facilitate, evaluate, and revise educational programming.
- Provide consultation to enhance continuing education, professional development opportunities, and mentorship for nursing staff.
- Deliver and coordinate educational programs, including Grand Rounds, in-services, continuing education, job-specific, and specialty curricula.
- Lead preceptors and serve as a role model through educational programs and ongoing coaching and mentoring.
- Participate in continuing education provider unit learning, evaluating nursing education activities, and staying up-to-date with market/facility policies and procedures.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Education or related specialty.
- 2 years of nursing experience in Perinatal Services preferred.
- Current State Licenses & Certifications (BLS, ACLS, NRP).
