This organization manages approximately $1 billion in assets under management (AUM) across diverse property types, with a strategic emphasis on core and value-added investments in the Western U.S.

Position Summary: The SVP will report directly to the President and will play a pivotal role in a compact deal team responsible for sourcing and executing new investment opportunities, as well as managing a portfolio that includes Commercial and Multifamily properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively participate in a focused team dedicated to identifying, underwriting, and executing investments in Multifamily and Industrial properties throughout the Western United States.
  • Collaborate with team members to conduct thorough due diligence, coordinate third-party evaluations, assess market conditions, compile financial analyses, and prepare Investment Summaries for Board review.
  • Engage with the Leadership team to discuss market trends, investment strategies, and the current deal pipeline.
  • Oversee property management, third-party leasing efforts, and disposition strategies for assigned assets.
  • Develop and implement asset-level business plans, which may encompass Property Management, Leasing, and Capital Projects.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Real Estate, or a related field.
  • 6 to 15 years of relevant experience in acquiring various asset types across the Western U.S., with a strong preference for candidates with Asset Management experience.
  • Exceptional financial modeling capabilities, with a solid understanding of investment evaluation concepts and model construction.
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial spirit with a proven ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Willingness to travel across the Western U.S. for asset tours.
