Culligan Water of Northeast Kansas, a leader in water treatment since 1936, is expanding its residential sales team. We are seeking dedicated sales representatives in the Topeka and Lawrence areas who are eager to contribute to a thriving local business by selling and renting top-tier water treatment equipment. Our extensive customer base in these regions presents significant opportunities for growth.

No prior water treatment experience is required, although sales experience is advantageous. Candidates should be professional, self-motivated, and possess strong initiative. We will provide training on how to engage with potential customers to identify their service needs. This role involves developing new customer relationships and maintaining existing ones for residential sales and rentals of water softeners, reverse osmosis systems, and whole house filtration systems. Candidates will also be responsible for generating leads, adhering to company credit policies, and providing regular updates on lead activities to the sales manager.

Background checks and drug screenings are mandatory. Candidates must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess customers' water quality and recommend solutions to meet their specific needs.
  • Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers.
  • Communicate effectively with management, service teams, and customer service departments.
  • Proactively seek and generate new business opportunities.
  • Provide daily and weekly reports on sales activities and updates.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Three years of sales experience preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Maintain a polished and professional appearance.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
