PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accurately maintain client records in the Agency Management System, ensuring proper documentation and communication in line with company workflows and best practices.
  • Draft professional business correspondence through various means.
  • Perform accounting functions such as invoicing and premium allocation as required.
  • Monitor claims in accordance with agency procedures, keeping all relevant parties informed and providing guidance to clients as needed.
  • Utilize effective communication skills to interact with colleagues and clients, offering information and support to meet company objectives.
  • Participate in client meetings alongside Advisors or Directors of Risk Management when requested.
  • Assist colleagues in addressing client inquiries or processing tasks as necessary.
  • Oversee daily operations of client accounts, including policy reviews, updates, contract evaluations for certificate processing, renewal documentation preparation, and marketing insurance programs.
  • Respond to client inquiries via phone and email, ensuring timely service and follow-up.
  • Advise clients on coverage options and exposures, recommending additional coverage as necessary.
  • Proactively seek referrals from existing clients to identify new business opportunities.
  • Develop strong relationships with insurance partners, understanding their requirements and attributes.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement within the firm and its processes, bringing any issues to the attention of leadership.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
  • Exhibit strong presentation skills through both verbal and written communication.
  • Possess intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn additional software as needed.
  • Demonstrate alignment with the firm's core values and corporate culture.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • Maintain necessary state insurance licenses as required for risk management consulting.
  • 3+ years of experience in a Commercial Account Management role.
OTHER:
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
The starting salary is competitive and negotiable based on experience.
