PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accurately maintain client records in the Agency Management System, ensuring proper documentation and communication in line with company workflows and best practices.
- Draft professional business correspondence through various means.
- Perform accounting functions such as invoicing and premium allocation as required.
- Monitor claims in accordance with agency procedures, keeping all relevant parties informed and providing guidance to clients as needed.
- Utilize effective communication skills to interact with colleagues and clients, offering information and support to meet company objectives.
- Participate in client meetings alongside Advisors or Directors of Risk Management when requested.
- Assist colleagues in addressing client inquiries or processing tasks as necessary.
- Oversee daily operations of client accounts, including policy reviews, updates, contract evaluations for certificate processing, renewal documentation preparation, and marketing insurance programs.
- Respond to client inquiries via phone and email, ensuring timely service and follow-up.
- Advise clients on coverage options and exposures, recommending additional coverage as necessary.
- Proactively seek referrals from existing clients to identify new business opportunities.
- Develop strong relationships with insurance partners, understanding their requirements and attributes.
- Identify opportunities for improvement within the firm and its processes, bringing any issues to the attention of leadership.
- Exhibit strong presentation skills through both verbal and written communication.
- Possess intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn additional software as needed.
- Demonstrate alignment with the firm's core values and corporate culture.
- Maintain necessary state insurance licenses as required for risk management consulting.
- 3+ years of experience in a Commercial Account Management role.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
- Willingness to travel as required.
