Job Summary

This position is located in a dynamic aggregate facility in the Pacific Northwest.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aggregate processing equipment, including crushers, screen decks, conveyors, and drums. This will involve completing pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections, submitting required documentation, and assisting with plant operations as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine safety and mechanical inspections of the plant and equipment
  • Address any housekeeping issues within the workspace
  • Drive to various facilities to perform maintenance and repair tasks
  • Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance problems to minimize downtime and costs
  • Understand and comply with relevant regulations and industry standards
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift or move up to 100 pounds
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
  • Knowledge and experience in the operation and maintenance of aggregate processing equipment
  • Proficient in welding and cutting
  • Proficient operator of forklift, man lift, cranes, and boom trucks
  • Experience operating heavy equipment in aggregate facilities preferred
  • Current MSHA training certification preferred
