Job Overview

We are Home Health Advantage, a patient-centered organization seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, families, physicians, and referring sources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming calls and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Act as a liaison between customers, clinicians, and management, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Utilize multiple computer systems, including MS Excel and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, to track, gather information, and troubleshoot customer issues.
  • Record details of inquiries, comments, and complaints, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Closely collaborate with the Benefits Verification Team to obtain prior authorization required for patient care.
  • Order patient supplies and perform other administrative duties as needed.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a healthcare or administrative setting.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and EMR software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
