Key Responsibilities- IBM Datastage Administration: Provide expert-level administration and support for our IBM Datastage environment, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Linux System Administration: Administer and maintain our Linux systems, ensuring they are secure, up-to-date, and running efficiently.
- ETL Repository Management: Manage and optimize our ETL repository, ensuring data is processed efficiently and accurately.
- Performance Tuning: Analyze and optimize system performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to increase efficiency.
- High Availability and Backup: Ensure high availability and implement robust backup and recovery procedures to minimize downtime.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Develop and maintain monitoring tools and reports to track system performance and identify potential issues.
- 9-12 years of Administration experience with IBM IIS/DataStage.
- Expertise in IBM's IIS Datastage version 11.x products with hands-on multiple implementations experience.
- Strong RedHat Linux systems administration skills with experience in Linux RedHat clustering.
- Knowledge of PL/SQL scripting, Powershell/Python/Bash Scripting and other scripting languages.
- Collaborative mindset with experience working with development teams to implement best practices for software development, testing, and deployment.
