Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Plumbing and Fire Protection Engineer to join our Building Engineering team. This role is pivotal in delivering comprehensive engineering solutions, encompassing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee plumbing and fire protection engineering teams to create innovative concepts, strategies, and construction documentation for both new and renovation projects.
- Provide mechanical leadership on extensive multi-discipline design initiatives, including plumbing systems and fire protection strategies.
- Conduct thorough code reviews for plumbing and fire protection systems to ensure compliance and safety.
- Engage in plumbing and fire protection design for various sectors, including corrections, higher education, laboratories, and healthcare facilities.
- Execute fire protection hydraulic calculations utilizing industry-standard software tools.
- Collaborate directly with clients to analyze design alternatives, perform cost-benefit assessments, and communicate findings to support informed decision-making.
- Lead project teams to achieve objectives while maintaining high-quality standards in deliverables.
- Manage project financials and timelines effectively.
- Foster client relationships and contribute to business development efforts.
- Prepare proposals to initiate new business opportunities.

Salary Range:
$90,000 - $120,000 annually. The specific salary offered will depend on various factors, including relevant experience, education, and work location.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in a professional A/E services environment is preferred.
- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
- Excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- A New York Professional Engineer's License is preferred.
