Position Overview

The audit division offers varied exposure across the organization. We are in search of a motivated and results-oriented Auditor to oversee the development and implementation of thorough audit work plans in partnership with internal colleagues. The selected candidate will conduct financial and operational audits, document findings, and facilitate collaboration between auditees and team members. This role will serve as a valuable resource for team members at different levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design the audit approach for assigned projects, including the formulation of audit programs and the identification of the most effective audit methodologies. Lead planning discussions with auditees and integrate their feedback into the audit strategy.
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned organizational and functional processes, assessing the adequacy and effectiveness of management controls.
  • Prepare documentation detailing the outcomes of the assessments, including formal audit remarks that identify and quantify the implications for business operations.
  • Exhibit critical thinking, maintain a sense of curiosity, and apply professional skepticism.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, challenging existing practices to discover innovative and enhanced methods.
  • Act as a technical advisor and support other professionals within the team in areas such as auditing techniques, project management, and data analysis.
  • Establish productive working relationships with business stakeholders and team members.
  • Assist in coordinating and executing audit tasks for external auditors.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development through self-directed learning and on-the-job training, with a focus on obtaining professional and industry certifications.
Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or a related field is required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1-3 years of auditing or related experience is required.
  • Professional audit certifications (CPA, CIA, CISA, etc.) are preferred.
  • Experience with data analysis is preferred.
  • Familiarity with WDesk is a plus but not mandatory.
