Key Responsibilities
- Design and plan audit assignments, including the formulation of audit programs and the identification of effective audit methodologies. Lead discussions with auditees to incorporate their feedback into the audit strategy.
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned organizational functions and assess the adequacy and effectiveness of management controls.
- Prepare documentation that captures the results of audit tests, including formal comments that highlight the implications for business operations.
- Exhibit critical thinking skills, maintain a sense of curiosity, and apply professional skepticism.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by challenging existing processes to discover innovative solutions.
- Act as a technical resource, assisting colleagues in areas such as auditing techniques, project management, and data analysis.
- Establish productive relationships with business stakeholders and team members.
- Support the coordination and execution of audit activities for external auditors.
- Engage in ongoing professional development through self-directed learning and on-the-job training, with a focus on achieving professional and industry certifications.
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or a related field is required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1-3 years of auditing or relevant experience is required.
- Professional audit certifications (CPA, CIA, CISA, etc.) are preferred.
- Experience with data analysis is desirable.
- Familiarity with WDesk is a plus but not mandatory.
