Job Summary

Caring Network seeks a skilled Development Officer to join our team. As a key member of our Development Team, you will be responsible for securing major gifts to support the expansion of our ministry.

This is a results-oriented role that requires a strong commitment to the pro-life position and a passion for building relationships with donors. If you are a motivated and organized individual with excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a portfolio of mid and major donors
  • Invite new donors and engage current donors to increase their level of giving
  • Secure major gifts through face-to-face solicitations
  • Develop and implement stewardship strategies to express appreciation for contributions
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with new donors and prospects
  • Present Caring Network to small and large groups
  • Provide leadership for events at our clinics
  • Work with the Development Team to coordinate fundraising activities
Requirements
  • A committed Christian with a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Strong commitment to the pro-life position and enthusiasm for the mission and strategy of Caring Network
  • 2-5 years of successful face-to-face major gift solicitations
  • Proven record of relationship building and successful gift solicitations
  • Bachelor's Degree required, advanced degree or CFRE a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities
