Dental Regional Director

Key Responsibilities- Develop close working partnerships with dentists and office teams to support the daily business and non-clinical aspects of dental practices.
- Lead, train, and develop a team of Operations Managers to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
- Recruit, hire, develop, and retain high-performance teams through training, education, coaching, expectation setting, and accountability.
- Ensure effective execution of operational standards, including compliance with established company policies, procedures, OSHA, and government regulations.
- Provide support to Office Managers to help manage controllable expenses.
- Make effective decisions based on data analysis, organizational observations, and cost controls.
- Support and achieve performance targets and budgeted goals.
- Identify opportunities within dental practices and create improvement action plans.
- Ensure consistent communication to the COO and/or executive team.
- Work collaboratively with other support departments.
- Identify issues early, assess the situation, and develop a plan for resolution, including the Revenue Cycle.
- Challenge, encourage, and inspire teams to achieve desired results.
- Respond to clinical and operational concerns timely and effectively.
- Develop operating procedures and protocols.
- Represent Elite Dental Partners with doctors, clinical staff, vendors, and business partners.
- Five (5) plus years of successful growth operations experience in a multi-unit, multi-state healthcare services business.
- Significant P&L responsibility and experience with budget management, personnel management, team building, mergers & acquisitions, and real estate.
- Evidence of a management style that builds alliances within the business and emphasizes high morale, collegiality, effective teamwork, and high moral standards.
- Willingness to spend significant time in the field to thoroughly understand the business and practical issues to better lead, grow, motivate, strategize, retain, and problem-solve with others.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Prior experience with a dental management software - Dentrix preferred.
- Ability to comply with safety procedures, privacy rules, and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong working knowledge of dental terminology.
- Must take ownership and act with a sense of urgency and commitment to resolve issues.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent team player.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects at once.
