Opportunity for a Veterinary Ophthalmologist

VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Ophthalmologist to join our team. As a referral center, primary care facility, and teaching hospital, we provide a unique opportunity for a veterinarian to work with a diverse range of cases and clients.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and personable Veterinary Ophthalmologist who is passionate about teaching and has a strong interest in zoological companion animal medicine and surgery. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively with a large and varied case load and clientele.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality ophthalmic care to patients
  • Participate in clinical and didactic teaching of professional students, residents, and interns
  • Contribute to the development of continuing education programs for local veterinarians
  • Collaborate with other specialists to provide comprehensive care to patients
