Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Team Manager to join our team at Brigham and Women's Hospital. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing a team of Nurse Practitioners and Advanced Practice Providers in our NICU, Growth and Development unit, and Transition to Home nurseries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, lead, and manage the clinical practice, quality, and safety of patient care for an interdisciplinary team.
  • Collaborate with physicians, physician assistants, and other healthcare professionals to refine team goals and objectives.
  • Engage in regular performance improvement activities and use data to drive continuous quality improvement.
  • Provide direct care, counseling, and teaching to patients, and perform physical examinations and preventive health measures as needed.
  • Order and interpret lab and diagnostic tests, and arrange for follow-up care as necessary.
  • Manage meetings to encourage participation and achieve results, and demonstrate expertise as a team leader, member, and facilitator.
Requirements
  • Master's or DNP degree in Nursing required.
  • Valid prescriptive authority from both MA DPH and Federal DEA required.
  • Current APRN License to practice in Massachusetts required.
  • Current board certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner by an accredited APRN certifying body required.
  • Three to five years of NNP experience strongly preferred.
