Position Overview
The Lead Technician role demands your expertise and technical skills to troubleshoot drivability and electrical systems. You will also utilize your leadership and mentoring abilities to guide a team towards enhanced customer service and satisfaction.


Compensation:
$30.89 per hour

Our technicians benefit from a performance-driven compensation structure known as flat-rate pay.

This model rewards our skilled professionals with a set amount for each qualified task, promoting a culture of efficiency and quick task completion, ensuring you are justly compensated for your skills and commitment.

These rates are reflective of average productivity across regions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Diagnose and repair vehicles to manufacturer specifications.
2. Work on brake systems, hydraulic systems, exhaust systems, fuel ignition systems, electrical systems, suspension and alignment, air conditioning, and computer systems.
3. Clearly communicate technical diagnoses and necessary repairs to individuals without mechanical backgrounds.
4. Stay updated with the rapidly evolving automotive technology through ongoing paid formal training.
5. Support fellow technicians in executing technical tasks.
6. Demonstrate proficiency in reading, writing, and mathematics.
7. Maintain a valid automobile driver's license and be capable of operating customer and company vehicles.
8. Possess a minimum of 3 years of automotive repair experience, completion of a Vocational-Technical School program in a related field, or proven skills through third-party certifications/assessments.
9. A.S.E. certification in at least three of the A1-A8 categories is mandatory. (New hires with equivalent external qualifications/certifications will have up to two years of employment to comply.)
10. Uphold Federal, State, and Local certification/license requirements where applicable.
11. Effectively convey technical information to non-technical individuals.
