Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Transportation Specialist to join our team, working approximately 15 hours per week.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, with flexible morning hours (15 hours/week)

ARS Treatment Centers focus on outpatient services for individuals dealing with opiate addiction. Our facility is one of several locations in the mid-Atlantic region that provides specialized outpatient care through medication-assisted treatment.

Position Responsibilities

The Transportation Specialist is tasked with safely and efficiently transporting ARS patients to and from designated locations. This role requires strong driving abilities, a clean driving record, and a valid driver's license. Additionally, excellent communication and customer service skills are essential.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Transport passengers from scheduled locations
  • Drive patients to the clinic
  • Adhere to all traffic regulations – the vehicle is monitored electronically and visually
  • Engage with passengers in a friendly and courteous manner
  • Perform basic vehicle maintenance, ensuring cleanliness and good working condition
  • Maintain and update necessary documentation, logs, and paperwork
  • Track fuel consumption
  • Ensure cleanliness of the parking area
  • Comply with ARS policies and procedures

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • Proven driving skills with a clean driving record
  • Strong time management skills
  • Effective communication and de-escalation techniques
  • Integrity and professionalism in all interactions
