Job Title:

Business Office Representative (Florida PACE Centers)

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for managing incoming claims status inquiries, providing payment details, and responding to emails from healthcare providers and vendors. The successful candidate will also be responsible for opening and distributing mail, completing scanning of documents to electronic sources, and maintaining accurate client records in the organization's database.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answering Phones and Emails:
    • Respond to inquiries from healthcare providers and vendors, providing prompt and courteous assistance.
  • Billing and Invoicing Support:
    • Generate provider payment details and provide to vendor/provider requesting.
    • Reach out to Providers and Vendors to verify account information.
    • Manage and file paperwork related to client care, billing, and compliance.
  • Maintaining Client Records:
    • Update and maintain accurate client records in the organization's database, ensuring privacy and compliance with regulations.
Requirements:
  • Education:
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Associate degree preferred
  • Experience:
    • Minimum two years of experience in customer services in the medical field in a fast-paced environment
    • Must have experience handling a high call volume at different times of the day
  • Licenses/Certifications:
    • N/A
Abilities and Skills:
  • Knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word are essential
  • Must be able to work independently and have good organizational skills
  • Essential to have people skills to always maintain the highest level of professionalism
  • Must be fluent in English and Spanish reading, writing, and speaking in a professional manner
