Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Training and Development Specialist to join our team at Baystate Health. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing training needs analysis, developing training courses and materials, and delivering training programs for our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Training Needs Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of training needs to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them.
  2. Training Course Development: Design and develop training courses and materials to meet the needs of our employees, including registration and scheduling systems.
  3. Training Delivery: Deliver training programs to employees, including classroom training, web-based training, and one-on-one coaching.
  4. Quality Monitoring: Conduct quality monitoring to ensure that training programs are effective and employees are meeting performance standards.
  5. Coaching and Development: Coach employees to improve their performance and develop training plans to address areas for improvement.
  6. Project Management: Participate in assigned projects and implementations, including data collection, testing, training, and go-live support.
  7. Process Redesign: Support departmental management in process redesign activities to improve internal customer service.
  8. Training Materials Development: Develop training materials, including web-based training modules, to ensure that they are current and effective.
Requirements
  1. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in registration systems.
  2. Working knowledge of insurance, managed care, Medicaid, and Medicare regulatory requirements.
  3. Working knowledge and experience using Cerner Invision and Cerner Rev Cycle Registration Platforms.
  4. Excellent knowledge of Word, Excel, and registration experience.
  5. Team player with strong communication, problem-solving, and service excellence skills.
