Job Summary:

As a Speech Therapist with Kaiser Permanente, you will play a vital role in providing diagnosis and treatment of communication disorders for adult and pediatric populations. This is a part-time opportunity to work in an outpatient clinic setting, with the potential to work in the hospital as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders using diagnostic tests and individualized treatments.
  • Collaborate with physicians and patients to develop treatment schedules and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Implement and maintain department policies and procedures, identifying opportunities for new or enhanced services.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Completion of a Speech Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Internship.
  • Speech-Language Pathologist License (California).
  • Basic Life Support certification.
  • National Provider Identifier.
  • Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local requirements.
  • Ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
