An Accounts Payable (A/P) professional is responsible for reviewing and processing weekly invoices, maintaining account balances, and preparing month-end reporting. This role works closely with Community Managers to process invoices, turnover, set-up, and payment of utilities, as well as state and federal taxes.
Key Responsibilities:- Association utility bill monitoring and processing
- Client Assistance: Assist internal and external clients with questions or problems related to vendors, invoices, issued checks, voided checks, stop payments, reserve transfers, and cash balances
- Cash Maintenance: Review operating cash balances on a weekly basis and ensure compliance with the association's cash maintenance policies at month-end
- Bi-weekly check printing: Ensure invoice details are accurate and print checks with appropriate details for the approval process
- Special handling of checks: Complete special check requests handling forwarded by Community Manager or AP Lead
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date files
- Follow quality system procedures
- Participate in special projects as needed
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Applications, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Good written and verbal communication skills
