Summer Camp Coordinator - OUCARES
  • Essential Qualifications:
    • Exhibit a positive demeanor and respect for individuals with Autism
    • Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively
    • Be reliable, punctual, and maintain professionalism
    • Show enthusiasm and a willingness to acquire new skills
    • Have prior experience with Autism or related fields
    • Be proficient in using computers, Microsoft Office, Zoom, and Google Meet
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Possess at least one year of experience working with individuals with Autism
    • Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training is advantageous
    • CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred
  • Job Objective:
    • Ensure the safety and active participation of campers with Autism
    • Collaborate within a team-oriented environment
    • Effectively communicate and execute daily camp programs
    • Develop and apply positive behavior support strategies
  • Responsibilities:
    • Commit to scheduled hours and participate in staff meetings
    • Collaborate with lead educators, administrators, and campers
    • Assist in the execution of camp activities and educational content
    • Design and implement positive behavior support techniques
    • Engage actively with campers during all scheduled activities
    • Maintain a clean and safe camp environment
    • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and organizational policies
