About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions to define and understand business requirements.
  • Develop, test, and implement SSIS packages from development to production servers.
  • Work on maintenance and administration of SSIS, including creating jobs, alerts, and SQL Mail Agent.
  • Automate the execution of SSIS packages using SQL Server Agent Jobs.
  • Build complex queries and reports using Microsoft SQL.
  • Diagnose and resolve incident tickets and errors.
  • Develop ETL specifications, data mapping, and other documentation required for ETL development.
  • Use SQL, data models, data element dictionary, and schema to perform data and business analysis.
  • Understand business data and perform quality assurance testing to ensure data accuracy.
  • Establish and maintain positive work relationships with coworkers, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Support unit testing, system integration testing, end-to-end system testing, and user acceptance testing.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6-9 years of experience in applications design and development with SQL Server/MS-SQL scripting and SSIS.
  • Proactive engagement in continuous improvement efforts.
  • Analytical and data analysis skills using Microsoft SQL.
  • Previous team leadership experience, including analyzing, mentoring, and monitoring.
  • Knowledge in Unix and Control-M is an added advantage.
