Staff Genius is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at a skilled nursing home facility in Long Beach, New York.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated LPN to provide high-quality care to our residents. As an LPN in our skilled nursing home facility, you will play a crucial role in administering medications, monitoring patient health, assisting with treatments, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the well-being and comfort of our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor and document resident health status and communicate changes to appropriate team members
  • Assist with activities of daily living and ensure residents' comfort and safety
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records and charts
  • Provide emotional support to residents and their families
Requirements:
  • Valid LPN license in the state of New York
  • Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards seniors
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to adapt to various situations and prioritize effectively
  • Experience in a skilled nursing home or long-term care setting preferred
