Technical Sales Representative

Job Summary

The Technical Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales results in assigned geographic or sub-segment, managing a mix of consultative and transactional graphics accounts, and engaging resources to successfully execute value propositions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute Key Account Plans with high priority strategic Accounts to profitably maintain and grow IP graphics business.
  • Provide insights for development of customer Value Propositions that create IP market advantage.
  • Develop effective responses to market, customer, and competitive activity influencing the market.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for other departments and provide graphics technical advice and solutions.
  • Identify and initiate problem resolution process improvement and serve as primary point of contact for company and customer operations.

Requirements

  • BS/BA, preferably in a related field.
  • 5 years of sales and/or customer service experience in the packaging industry.
  • Experience in the corrugated box industry is desirable.
  • Project management skills, organizational skills, packaging graphics knowledge, and retail marketing experience will be a plus.
