Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Plasma Center Technician to join our team. As a Plasma Center Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our donors, ensuring the safety of our donors and employees, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to our donors, including answering phones and greeting donors
  • Screen new and repeat donors, take and record donor vital signs and finger stick results, and maintain accurate records
  • Use our Donor Information System to prepare donor charts and coordinate donor compensation
  • Help identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes as needed
  • Work in a fast-paced team environment, ensuring a clean and professional work environment, and attending team meetings
  • Be dependable and work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees
  • Ability to lift up to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
  • Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in food service, retail, hospital, lab, or a regulated environment
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced workplace
