Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Plasma Center Technician to join our team. As a Plasma Center Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our donors, while also contributing to the collection of high-quality plasma that will be used to create life-changing medicines.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to our donors, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the donation process.
- Screen donors for eligibility and take vital signs, using our Donor Information System to maintain accurate records.
- Prepare donor charts, coordinate donor compensation, and maintain a clean and professional work environment.
- Work collaboratively with your management team to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement changes to center processes.
- Support the collection of plasma by operating state-of-the-art plasmapheresis machines and ensuring the safety of our donors.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift up to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
- Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
- Experience working in food service, retail, hospital, lab, or a regulated environment.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Desire to work in a fast-paced workplace.
We offer a competitive starting hourly wage of $16.00, with opportunities for short-term incentives and participation in our comprehensive benefits program, including medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and company match.
