Job SummaryAs a Plasma Center Technician at BioLife, you'll play a critical role in collecting high-quality plasma that becomes life-changing medicines. You'll work closely with donors, ensuring their safety and comfort while providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Screen new and repeat donors, taking and recording vital signs and finger stick results
- Answer phones and greet donors, providing a positive experience
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement changes through approved procedures
- Work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays, to ensure donor satisfaction
- Learn to operate and maintain state-of-the-art plasmapheresis machines
- Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs
- Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance
- Prolonged glove wear due to potential exposure to blood-borne pathogens
- Starting hourly wage: $ (reflects actual starting rate for this position)
