About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Retail Department Coordinator to join our Homesense team in Framingham. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for executing receiving and merchandising standards, ensuring Associates are processing efficiently and effectively, and working as a team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receiving and Merchandising: Execute receiving and merchandising standards to ensure efficient processing of merchandise onto the sales floor.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with Associates to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
  • Customer Experience: Engage and interact with customers to provide an exceptional shopping experience.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded.
  • Training and Development: Train and mentor Associates on established merchandising and processing principles.
  • Productivity and Efficiency: Monitor productivity of team and coach as necessary to ensure efficient flow of goods to sales floor.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain and uphold merchandising philosophy and signage standards, as well as organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the backroom area.
Requirements
  • Flexibility: Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Communication and Organization: Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Teamwork: Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors.
  • Leadership Experience: 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience.
