Position Title: Cloud Computing Educator

Location: Remote or On-site options available

Reporting To: Training Manager/Director of Education

Role Summary:

The Cloud Computing Educator at Total Cyber Solutions LLC will provide in-depth and practical training sessions focused on various cloud technologies, customized to meet the needs of diverse learners. The educator is expected to remain current with emerging cloud innovations, create educational resources, and facilitate hands-on lab experiences. This position demands exceptional communication abilities, a robust technical foundation in cloud computing, and the capacity to motivate and engage learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training Execution: Lead instructor-led training sessions, either in-person or virtually, covering cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
  • Curriculum Design: Develop and revise educational materials and curricula to incorporate the latest advancements in cloud technology.
  • Practical Labs: Create and oversee lab environments that offer real-world experience with cloud platforms.
  • Evaluation: Design and implement assessments to evaluate learning outcomes and provide constructive feedback to participants.
  • Student Support: Assist learners by addressing inquiries and helping them navigate challenges in their educational journey.
  • Certification Guidance: Aid students in preparing for cloud certification examinations by sharing strategies, tips, and review sessions.
  • Continuous Learning: Engage in ongoing research to stay informed about new trends, tools, and best practices in cloud computing.
  • Feedback Collection: Gather student feedback to enhance course content and instructional methods.
  • Collaboration: Partner with fellow educators and curriculum developers to ensure consistency across course offerings.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (preferred).
  • Experience:
    • 3-5 years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
    • Prior experience in an educational or training capacity is preferred.
  • Certifications: Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., CompTIA Cloud+, ISC2 CCSP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect) are highly regarded.
  • Skills:
    • Comprehensive understanding of cloud computing principles, tools, and best practices.
    • Strong presentation and communication skills.
    • Ability to simplify complex subjects into digestible lessons.
    • Familiarity with training platforms and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
    • Expertise in creating and managing virtual lab environments.
    • Flexibility to accommodate various learning styles and student requirements.

Work Environment:

  • This role may involve travel for in-person training sessions at various locations.
