Position Information

Wichita State University is seeking a highly skilled and innovative professional to join our team as a Community Program Specialist- Leadership Development. This role will play a critical part in conceptualizing, designing, and delivering various projects that support the growth and development of non-profit organizations and government agencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and propose strategic planning, capacity-building, and related processes to potential clients.
  • Manage all aspects of projects, responding to client needs and expectations, and fulfilling agreed-upon commitments while managing multiple clients simultaneously.
  • Support the conceptualization, design, and delivery of work related to ongoing center projects, working primarily in a team environment.
  • Complete reports associated with respective projects according to project deadlines and requirements.
  • Support the monitoring of the project budget and resources to ensure that fiscal processes and guidelines are met.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field by hire date.
  • Three (3) years of experience in a related field.
  • Knowledgeable in organizational and leadership development, with a good understanding of effective strategies and methods.
  • Experienced in collaborating with non-profit organizations and government agencies.
  • Skilled in maintaining positive and productive relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple projects, deadlines, and tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledgeable in various facilitation methods and techniques to engage participants and manage discussions.
