The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in planning, purchasing, reporting, and analytics within social media environments. The ability to excel in a dynamic setting and communicate strategies effectively to clients is essential. This position is crucial within the Ad Platforms team and will report directly to the Director of Paid Social.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of Paid Social professionals, providing guidance and support to junior members.
  • Engage in strategic discussions, contributing insights on tactics and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (planning, buying, Ad Ops, programmatic) to align on campaign objectives and specific requirements.
  • Design and manage both direct response and branding initiatives across various social media platforms.
  • Evaluate campaign specifications (budget, creative assets, audience targeting, timing, KPIs, etc.) and offer feedback to clients on optimal strategies.
  • Enhance media campaigns to meet performance targets and KPIs.
  • Participate in client meetings, articulating social media capabilities and advantages as necessary.
  • Assess key performance indicators and adjust strategies as required.
  • Compile and analyze campaign outcomes, identify trends, and proactively suggest enhancements for clients and internal teams.
  • Stay informed on the latest trends and advancements in social media.

Qualifications:

  • 4-7 years of experience in paid social media, either in an agency or client-side role.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts clearly to clients.
  • Proficient in analyzing social media metrics and optimizing campaigns accordingly.
  • Strong understanding of social platform algorithms, optimization strategies, and advertising products.
  • Analytical mindset focused on media performance and achieving measurable results.
  • Experience in training and educating new team members on paid social strategies, execution, and reporting.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent project management capabilities, able to manage multiple projects efficiently.
  • Experience in developing testing frameworks and creating client-facing reports based on performance metrics.
