Job SummaryThe Patient Registration Representative will enjoy interacting with patients checking them in for their appointments and coordinating follow-up appointments. This role requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills to ensure delivery of the highest quality customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Accurately perform administrative duties required for patient registration, including entering demographic and insurance information and collecting copays.
- Collect point of service payments and may also be responsible for scheduling appointments.
- Provide unsurpassed customer service to patients and families presenting to the physician practice or hospital for appointments, surgeries, therapies, or procedures.
- 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Not Applicable licensure/certification requirements.
The Patient Registration Representative work environment is high-volume and fast-paced, requiring the ability to greet and check patients in upon arrival and provide excellent customer service.
